ABOUT LTA
The Lansing Telugu Association is a community group that represents Telugu speaking people from the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This association has been active for more than 15 to 20 years and includes nearly 1000 families residing in the areas of Lansing, Okemos, Holt, Haslett, and surrounding areas.
The majority of the adults in this community work in professional jobs in various fields such as IT, healthcare, higher education, and automotives. Despite their busy schedules, the community members actively participate in various events, charities, and activities both locally and globally.
One of the primary goals of this association is to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of India, particularly that of the Telugu-speaking people. As part of this mission, the community gathers together to celebrate Indian festivals and other cultural events since 2005. The members of the association take pride in following their traditions and customs and ensuring that their younger generations are exposed to and educated about their cultural roots.
Overall, the Lansing Telugu Association serves as a hub for Telugu-speaking people in the Lansing area, providing them with a platform to connect with their community, preserve their culture and traditions, and give back to the society at large.
